Shobo's Age = 5 Years

Mother's Age = 30 Years

Step-by-step explanation:

Given:

  • Mother's age is 6 times the present age of Shobo.
  • After 5 years , Shobo's age will be one third of mother's age.

To Find:

  • What are their present ages ?

Solution: Let the present age of Shobo is x years. Therefore,

➙ Mother's age = 6 times of x

➙ Mother's age = 6x years

[ After 5 years ]

  • Shobo's age = (x + 5) years

Now , A/q

\implies{\rm } (x + 5) = 1/3 × 6x

\implies{\rm } (x + 5) = 2x

\implies{\rm } 5 = 2x x

\implies{\rm } 5 = x

So , present age of Shobo is 5 years & present age of Shobo's mother is 6(5) = 30 years.

Given :-

Shobo's mother's present age is six times Shobo's present age. Shobo's age five years  from now will be one third of his mother's present age.

To Find :-

Present ages

Solution :-

Let the age of Shobo be y

And her mother age will be 6y

After 5 years

Age of Shobo = y + 5

ATQ

\sf y + 5 = \dfrac{1}{3} \times 6y

\sf 3(y + 5) = 6x

\sf 3y + 15= 6y

\sf 15 = 6y-3y

\sf 15=3y

\sf\dfrac{15}{3} = y

\sf 5=y

Age of Shobo = 5 years

Age of mother = 30 years
