Natural resources should not be used thoughtlessly because these resources are not present in abundance and should be used by us carefully.

Natural resources like coal, petroleum, etc. are non-renewable resources and cannot be formed easily once they get exhausted. These resources take million of years to form again and once exhausted their non existence can cause problems.

Renewable resources like solar energy, wind energy, thermal energy, etc. should be used other than the non-renewable sources. The renewable resources are present in abundance in nature and can be used without the concern of their extinguishing.
