Answer:

Selling price (S.P.) of 10 apples = 1

S.P. of 1 apple = 1/10

profit 40% so, relation between S.P. and C.P. ( cost price)

S.P. = 1.4 * C.P.

C.P. = 1/(1.4*10) = 1/14

no of apples he bought for 1 Rs = 1 / C.P. of 1 apple

= 1/(1/14) = 14 Apples.

Answer:

None (Same value)

Step-by-step explanation:

Shop A:

Cost of 12 apples = $2.4

Cost of 1 Apple = $2.4/12 = $0.2

Shop B:

Cost of 10 apples = $2

Cost of 1 Apple = $2/10 =$0.2

So, Shop A and B both sell apple at same price
