shopkeeper bought 250 tube lights from a wholeseller at rs 30 each. However, 15 of them were defective
and were not sold. What should be the selling price of each of the remaining tube lights so that he gains
of on the whole?​

35.425/-

you bought 250 tubes, each price 30

you bought it by (250×30)=7500/-

15 are defused. you have now (250-15)=235.

you have to gain 10% on 7500 /-

so, 7500×(110/100)= 825. that is your profit.

now you have to earn 7500+ 825= 8325/- on 235 tubes.

235 tubes RS is 8325.
