Infrasonics and ultrasonics are the types of sound. Difference between ultrasonic sound and infrasonic sound is :

Ultrasonic sound

  • Ultrasonic sound are the sounds above 20,000 Hz.

  • They are very high frequency sounds.

Infrasonic sound

  • Infrasonic sounds are the sound below 20 Hz.

  • They are very low frequency sounds.

Also, note that "Hz" is the SI unit of frequency.

Frequency is the number of oscillations made by a vibrating object in one second. It is a characteristic of vibration.
