Given :

  • Length of Rectangle = 7.2 cm
  • Breadth of Rectangle = 4.8 cm

To Find :

  • Area and Perimeter of Rectangle .

Solution :

For Area :

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Area\:of\:Rectangle=length\times{breadth}}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{7.2\times{4.8}}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{34.56{cm}^{2}}

So , The Area of Rectangle is 34.56 cm²..

Now ,

For Perimeter :

Using Formula :

\longmapsto\tt\boxed{Perimeter\:of\:Rectangle=2(l+b)}

Putting Values :

\longmapsto\tt{2(7.2+4.8)}

\longmapsto\tt{2(12)}

\longmapsto\tt\bf{24cm}

So , The Perimeter of Rectangle is 24cm...

GIVEN:

  • Length of the rectangle = 7.2 cm
  • Breadth of the rectangle = 4.8 cm

FIND:

  • What is the perimeter of the rectangle = ?
  • What is the area of the rectangle = ?

FORMULAS USED:

  • Area of an rectangle = length × breadth
  • Perimeter of an rectangle

=>2(length + breadth)

SOLUTION:

here,

we know that,

Area of rectangle = length × breadth

where,

  • Length = 7.2 cm
  • breadth = 4.8 cm

substituting these values in the formula

so, we get

Area of rectangle = 7.2 × 4.8

= 34.56 cm²

Thus, area of the rectangle = 34.56 cm²

now,

we know that,

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(length + breadth)

where,

  • Length = 7.2 cm
  • breadth = 4.8 cm

substituting these values in the formula

so, we get

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(7.2 + 4.8)

= 2(12)

= 24 cm

Thus, perimeter of the rectangle = 24 cm
