1. A nomad is a member of a community without fixed habitation which regularly moves to and from the same areas. Such groups include hunter-gatherers, pastoral nomads, and tinkers or trader nomads.

2. You should not speak to their caretaker about them as if they are not even there. Make eye contact, speak directly to them, and treat them as you would anyone else you were interacting with. They don't deserve to be talked about instead of talked to, no matter what they are dealing with.

3. Threshing is the process of loosening the edible part of grain (or other crop) from the straw to which it is attached. It is the step in grain preparation after reaping. Threshing does not remove the bran from the grain.
