The king of france decided to send troops in the countryside to ensure safety.
But the rumour among the people was that the king send troops to open fire on the people.
Also the third estate had to pay taxes to the other estates, and the prices of bread and other essential products had been rising.
So the people were furious.
The fort of Bastille marked the disporting power of the king, prisoner were kept in Bastille.
So they decided to attack Bastille.
