Explanation:Distillation, process consists of two process evaporation and condensation in which heating water to form water vapours or steam and the conversion of a hot water vapour into subsequently back to liquid form on cooling respectively.

The process of distillation is used in order to recover both salt and water from the salt water mixture. In this process mixture is heated until water to form of water vapours.  

Then cooling of this hot water will take place to get back liquid water.

Distillation method is followed by two methods first is evaporation after that condensation will take place.
