1.Directive Principles of State Policy aim to create social and economic conditions under which the citizens can lead a good life. They also aim to establish social and economic democracy through a welfare state.
2.Two Directive Principles based on Gandhian ideals are : Article 40 which mentions that the State would take steps to establish Village Panchayats as units of local self-government and endow them with necessary powers.
