Santosh Yadav was born on 10th of October in the year 1967 in  District in Haryana.  

Inspite of her rural background and prevalent social taboo banning education of girls in rural set up she was able to continue her schooling.  

Graduated from Maharani College Jaipur with Economic (Honours) in the year 1987 and also got her NCC 'C' Certificate that year.  

During studying in prestigious Maharani College at Jaipur she found way to the Himalayas through Aravali Mountains.

Santosh Yadav got into the record books for first time when scaled mount Everest at the age of 20...she became the youngest women the world to climb mount Everest scaled mount Everest second time as set as a record as the only woman to climb the mount Everest twice..it took Santosh sometime to understand enormity of her achievement....she unflured of Indian tricolour there and face it also had spiritual significance for her and she describe her feelings and indescribable....Santosh concern for the environment is reflected by the actions of collecting and bringing back about 500 kilograms of garbage from the Himalayas....during the Everest expandation xanthomas try to save a dying team made by providing in special care and save another... it shows her concern for others.... Santosh begin living life on her own terms from the starting. ..he was not ready to accept anything unreasonable and refused to bound by the traditional ways of thinking for example she prefer to wear shorts rather than wearing traditional Indian dress like the other girls in the village used to wear....she left for Delhi when she was 16 years old most of the girls in her village used to get married and their tej does he was under a lot of pressure from her parents to do the same but he did not agree to it and threaten her parents that she would never get married if she didn't get proper education....Santosh determined to continue her education select home and got herself enrolled in school and Delhi but have parents refuse to pay for her fees ...so Santosh politely informed am that she would do part time job and pay her school fees herself they had it immediately to advance this incident show Santosh was strong willed and clear in her thoughts......
