As I person I don't know him,
But his periodic table is pretty well known.
These can be considered shortcomings of his periodic table
1) No separate place for isotopes (same number of protons different neutrons, different mass)
now since his periodic law said "properties of elements are periodic function of 'atomic mass' " isotopes should have different positions.

We now know that properties are function of atomic number, not mass.

2) He sometimes didn't follow his own law! Like in case of tellurium and iodine I guess (you can google there weights) he place Iodine after tellurium even though Iodine was lighter.

3) No place for Hydrogen.
Which we still struggle with though.

His table for awesome! As he was obsessive

1 ) postion of hydrogen atom do not correctly determined .2) postion to isotopes was not given because it was undiscovered that time. 3) his classification is based upon periodic function of their increasing atomic mass rather he arranged some heavy elements before light elements. 4) some similar elements are separated and dissimilar elements are grouped together.
