•Diaphragm - It is a dom shaped ,muscles which separates the thoracic cavity, containing the heart and lungs, from the abdominal cavity and performs an important function in respiration.

•Gills- a respiratory organ found in many aquatic organisms that takes oxygen from water and excretes carbon dioxide.

•spiracles-In the respiratory system of insects, the tracheal tubes which deliver oxygen directly into the animals' tissues. 

•Trachea-Also called windpipe, it is a bony tube that connects the nose and mouth to the lungs, and is an important part of the respiratory system in vertibrates.

•Ribs- ribs surround the chest, enabling the lungs to expand and help in breathing by expanding the chest cavity and also protect the lungs, heart, and other internal organs .
