Games and Sports in Life
"Sports do not build character, they reveal it" - John Wooden
Sports and games are essential parts of our life. They are physical and mental health regulators which help in developing many skills in our own mind. Many people consider it to be a part of leisure time and is not important, but they prove wrong here.
Sports in a way are a great source of knowledge of what life is. We develop skills like Leadership, Teamwork, Patience, Competitiveness and Determination of Success. These are some of the good and must qualities that a person must have in his/her own life.
Sports are generally played for fitness, passion and success. As we know the famous quote: "No pain, No gain". Without sports we have no gain as we experience no pain in our daily work. The sports help us a lot in our daily life.
- Keeps us mentally and physically fit
- Relaxes our mind
- Makes us feel happy and excited
- Develop consciousness about health
- Develops motivation towards our goals
" The Pain you experience today will be the success you enjoy tomorrow"
So feel the pain and et motivated by self.
Relaxing everyday by playing sports each day can help us in a very effective manner in studying key concepts which were hard earlier. Playing sports circulates large amount of oxygen inside which keeps our brain active and helps in studying effectively.
Sports also can earn you fame and pride all across the globe. Young minds in sports can also earn you great recognition all across the country.
E.g. Praggnanandhaa ( Young Chess GrandMaster )
People who succeeded both in sports as well as studies are great in managing life. One of the South Indian Table Tennis Wizard : G Sathiyan is a pride of India who was recently honoured with Arjuna Award.
These people also have created history in sports and shined like stars in the sky. So if they can achieve this why can't we ?
Therefore I conclude that sports is a must and should be followed by everyone to achieve success in reaching great heights.
Thank you :)
