उस व्यक्ति कि लोहार कहते हैं जो लोहा या इस्पात का उपयोग करके विभिन्न वस्तुएँ बनाता है। भारत में लोहार एक प्रमुख व्यावसायिक जाति है। हथौड़ा, छेनी,भाथी (धौंकनी) आदि औजारों का पयोग करके लोहार फाटक, ग्रिल, रेलिंग, खेती के औजार, कुछ बर्तन एवं हथियार आदि बनाता है।
