Shri Narendra Modi was born on 17th September, 1950 in Vadnagar, Gujarat. His father's name was Damodardas Mulchand Modi. His mother's name is Smt Heeraben. He completed his schooling in Vadnagar. He joined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He was elected as the National Secretary of Bhartiya Janta Party in 1995. In 1998, he was promoted to the post of General Secretary of BJP. Later, he became the Chief Minister of Gujarat. On 26th May, 2014, Modi was sworn in as the Prime Minister of India. He has many wonderful plans and projects for the country. We wish that he succeeds in all his missions.
