The extent of rainy season and the amount of rains; however, varies from place to place, depending upon the local topography, wind patterns and other climatic factors. Some places across the globe have rainy season extending up to one to three or may be four months, while the equatorial regions experience wet and dry climate throughout the year. Rains constitute a vital natural resource and are very essential for flora, fauna, agriculture and ecological balance of a place.❗❕
