Sir:
I am writing this letter to you to express my deep concern over the problem of ecological imbalance growing alarmingly in our country. Ecological balance they natural and healthy interaction between biotic (living things) and abiotic factors such as coral reef, forest, grassland, farm etc. Owing to industrialization and urbanization pollution in our cities this ecological balance has been drastically affected. As you already know ours is an industrial city. Harmful chemicals like arsenic, cadmium, mercury, and chrome have killed the aquatic life in rivers, lakes, and now in oceans.
Similarly smoke arising from the factory chimneys has polluted the air badly and affected the bird life. The insects in the soil have also been affected.
Through the medium of your esteemed daily I appeal to the public to live naturally. They must ensure they don’t dump anything toxic in the environment. I also appeal the Government to make and implement stricter laws to save ecology of each area. I am hopeful my views will find suitable place in the esteemed columns of your reputed daily.
Thanking you.
Yours truly,
Upen
