Short note grade 7 why we should not be superstious
Answers
Superstition is a notion that people maintain despite knowing the logical explanations. You must have heard people avoiding cracks in the pavement, or refusing to cross the road after a black cat crosses their path. All these are superstitions that must be avoided. Following are the reasons as to why they shouldn’t be catered to;
• You can become a slave to superstitions. Your decisions might start becoming dependent on them rather than on facts and logic.
• Superstitions are not backed by any scientific fact or figure.
• Many superstitions are years old basing their occurrences on fact of that era. These circumstances have changed and have no value in current time.
• Believing in superstitions has proved to be very inconvenient and full of hassle. Canceling your trip just because a black cat crossed your path or keeping a lucky charm at all-time doesn’t look ideal.
• Believing in superstitions is just adding another unnecessary worry in your list of worries.
• Believing in superstitions means lacking trust and faith in your own self. This brings downs ones confidence which is certainly not a favorable thing to happen.
• Superstitions play with your psychology. The more you pay head to it, the more you see yourself giving into it.
• They may hinder your success. You might not try hard after a superstitious sign you received.
Nothing but God knows the future. Let’s not let just mere incidents decide what’s going to happen next and try harder with life in an open full of life manner.
