Adi Shankaracharya was born to Shivaguru and Aryamba , a Brahmin couple in Kerala ,788AD . He wrote copious commentaries on the vedic canon. He studied all the four vedas when he was still a child.At 7, he mastered all the holy shastra and upanishads.

Adi Shankaracharya was an Indian philosopher and theologian whose works synthesized and systematized Advaita Vedanta teachings of his time. Over 300 texts are attributed to his name, including commentaries, original philosophical expositions and poetry
