Answer:

Many animals such as monkey, chimpanzees, flying box, flying squirrels, crocodiles alligators, snakes, turtles, anacondas, mocaws, parrots and hummingbirds are found in equatorial forest region.Tropical rain forests are a type of broad-leaved forest. Tropical rain forests, such as Brazil’s Amazon Basin rain forest, are found near the Equator. They contain more than half of the world’s biodiversity, or variety of plant and animal species. Coniferous forests have trees with cones and needles instead of leaves. The greatest expanses of equatorial rainforest are found in lowland Amazonia, the Congo Basin, the Southeast Asian islands of Indonesia, and Papua New Guinea. Tropical moist forests are found at a greater distance from the equator where rainfall and day length vary seasonally. Many regions close to the equator experience an equatorial climate. These regions include, the Amazon Basin (South America), the Congo Basin (Africa), Malaysia, Indonesia and some areas in northern Australia. Regions with this climate experience high temperatures all year rounhe equatorial forests are exuberant and do not present distinctive species. In these plant formations higher plants can be presented, such as bamboo, eucalyptus and mahogany. Also, there are lianas, orchids, lichens and mosses. Due to the presence of large trees, very little sunlight reaches the earth’s surface.
