Belief is the state of mind in which a person thinks something to be the case with or without there being empirical evidence to prove that something is the case with factual certainty. 

Prejudice is an affective feeling towards a person or group member based solely on that person's group membership (tribal behavior).

stereotype is an over-generalized belief about a particular category of people.[1] Stereotypes are generalized because one assumes that the stereotype is true for each individual person in the category.[2]
