Bimbisara is the founder of Magadha kingdom and belongs to Haryana dynasty.

ravi2203: Actually Magadha was ruled by four different dynasties 1.Haryanka (Bimbisara and Ajata sattu) 2.Shisunga dynasty 3.Nanda dynasty (Mahapadma Nanda) 4.Maurya dynasty (Chandraguptha Maurya, Bindusara and Ashoka the great)

Bibisara(544-491)
Contemporary of Buddha. His capital was rajgiir(girivraja). He strengthen his position by metrimonial alliance with the ruling families of Khosla, Vaisala and madra(3 wives)
His capital was surrounded by 4 hills, the opening in which were closed by stone walls on all sides. This is made rajgir impregnable.
He conquered anga(E. Bihar) yo gain control over trade route with the southern states.
