Brick Kilns use coal for baking bricks. They burn coal in insufficient O2 for baking bricks. Burning of coal itself produces Particulate Matter [PM]. Incomplete combustion of coal produces CO. CO is actually poisonous and fatal for human beings and almost all other living organisms. Brick kilns contribute to air pollution to a great extent. Taj Mahal is now becoming yellowish especially due to the pollution produced by brick kilns in and around Agra.
