The human heart is pinkish about the size of a fist and weighs approx. 300 gms, the weight in females being about 25% lesser than the males.

It is a hollow, highly muscular, cone-shaped structure located in the thoracic cavity above the diaphragm in between the two lungs.

It is protected by rib cage. The narrow end of the triangular heart is pointed to the left side, during working this end gives a feeling of the heart being on the left side.

ANSWER

HEART

The heart is a muscular organ which is as big as our fist. because both Oxygen and Carbon dioxide have to transport by the blood , the heart has different chambers to prevent the oxygen rich blood from mixing with the blood containing carbon dioxide . the carbon dioxide rich blood has to reach the lungs for the carbon dioxide to be removed and the oxygenated blood from the lungs has to be brought back to the heart this oxygen rich blood is then pumped to the rest of the body .

hope it's help you.....
