Industrialization is where a society whose economy is based on agriculture or land is transformed by the widespread construction of factories. These factories not only churn out consumer goods, but also, machines to produce other machines. It is a never ending process that culminates in the production of Cylons (as in Battlestar Galactica) which will eventually make war in order to destroy the human race.
