Jacobian club was one of the political clubs formed during the French Revolution. They belonged to the less prosperous section of the society. Included: small shopkeeperss, artisans pastry cooks etc. Their leader was- Maximilien Robespierre. They considered themselves different than 'fashionable section of society' (sans-culottes)
