The Kakori Conspiracy is a train robbery that took place between Lucknow and Kakori on 9 August 1925. It was organised by Hindustan Republican Association(HRA).
HRA worked for the independence movement in India. It included members like Chandrashekar Azad and Bhagat Singh. The Kakori Conspiracy was carried out by Ramgopal Bismil and Ashafallaq Shah. Since the party needed funds for party acitivites , Bismil and other members planned train robbery. The plan was executed on 9 August 1925 . Money and arms were looted. One
