♦ Mesohyel layer. ♦

⏩ Between Outer pinacoderm and inner choamoderm a non-cellular cementing layer is present it is called mesohyel layer. Mesohyel layer is secreted by inner choanoderm layer. Mesohyel keep pinacoderm and choanoderm together. Mesohyel is genetrisel layer.

⏩ Mesohyel Layer consist Endoskeleton of the sponge body in the form of spicules and spongin fibres.
