Nalanda University which became an international seat of learning during his time.It had nearly 10000 scholars from various parts of the world.Though Nalanda was a Buddhist university,it also taught subjects like philosophy,medicine,astronomy,metaphysics,grammar,logic,art andcraft,etc.The medium of instroduction was Sanskrit.
