These techniques include the scaffolds that facilitate the proliferation and differentiation of neural cells, the construct either with or without embedded cells for the repair of damaged nerves, and the three-dimensional (3D) structure of materials and cells mimicking the tissue in organisms. Nonetheless, still further research is need to be conducted for developing more effective strategies for neural tissue engineering as well as presenting the 3D structure of nerve in organisms more accurately.
