Ctenophora is a sub phylum of the phlum Coelenterata of Kingdom Animalia.....besides showing all features of coelenterates like tissue-level organisation,aquatic and diploblastic, they have rows of cilia and are monoecious in nature(both male and female gonads or genitals in same organism).They don't have nematocysts( stinging cells which store a toxin called hynotoxin which is used for predation) which is predominantly found in coelenterates.....they are also show biradial symmetry whereas Cnidarians,the other sub phylum of phylum Coelenterata, show radial symmetry......ctenophora has an aboral cavity which voids waste........eg:comb jellyfish,Pleurobranchia
