Answer:

  • Rashtrakutas was a royal dynasty ruling large parts of the Indian subcontinent between the sixth and 10th centuries. The earliest known Rashtrakuta inscription is a 7th-century copper plate grantdetailing their rule from Manapura, a city in Central or West India.

Rashtrakutas is a royal ruling dynasty. Dantidurga laid the foundation of the Rashtrakutas dynasty in AD753 after defeating the chalukyas of Badami. He and his successor Krishna 1 consolidated the Rashtrakutas rule in the region of present day Maharashtra.
