Explanation:

A government is said to be responsive government when it responds to the demands of the public and considers it very much part of the government. For example, after a prolonged period of mass protest and negotiation, the UPA government had to finally agree to people’s demand and introduce the Lokpal Bill in the Parliament. Even though, there still remains certain glitches in its implementation, the very fact that the government was forced to act on people’s demand is testimony to its responsive credentials.
