Roots :-) the roots of the most plant grow in the soil they perform two main functions they are as follows :-)
1.they anchor the plant firmly in the soil .
2.they absorb water and Minerals from the soil .
Root hair :-) every root has numerous fine structures called root hairs which help the plant to absorb water and dissolved minerals from the soil .
