Ferns are members of pteridophyte also called as megaphyllous pteridophye because their leaves are larger than stems their leaves are known as fronds. cones are not produced in ferns multicellular hairs are present on young leaves and rhizome



While spirogyra belongs to group algae [green algae ] the gamates of spirogyra are non flagellated and show isogamy they are multicellular and filamentous
