Answer:

The Ant and the Cricket is a fable written in the form of a poem by Greek writer Aesop. A fable is a short story in which animals behave like humans and convey a message.

The poem The Ant and the Cricket is a story of two insects – a cricket (a grasshopper-like insect) and an ant. The cricket is silly that does not care about the future and keeps enjoying the summer season rather than collecting food or making a shelter for itself.

On the other hand, the ant is wise. Instead of wasting time it gathers food for itself and makes shelter.

It is a short story........

Here in this poem the cricket has enjoyed a lot in summer .He passed the summer by dancing and singing day and night . But when the winter arrives then he saw that there was nothing left in his cupboard ,So then he went to cricket as he was so hungry i'e suffering from starvation and as it was winter so it is so cold . So he asked the ant to give him shelter and some food . But the ant replied that my dear friend We wants to help you but we ant never buy and never lend something from anyone . Then the cricket has faced a lot of problem.

So this poem yells us that Think of your future,or save something for your future .

HOPE THIS WILL HELP YOU .

IF YES,THEN MARK ME AS BRAINLIST.

THANKS ..............
