J.,the hero of the book ,is the narrator .he is young and single middle class person living in London . J . Is an educated person .he had a vast knowledge of history and geography of country .he is a day dreamer also dreams of knights and warriors.he loves locks but hates visiting tombs and monuments, he is very humorous and loves fun in plenty . he makes a perfect group of care-free persons with Harris and George.
