* Ho-chi-Minh trail is an* immense network of footpaths and roads.

*It was used to transport men and material from the North to the South Vietnam.

*The trail had support bases and hospitals along the way.

*In some parts supplies were transported in trucks, but mostly they were carried by potters, who were mainly women

*In total the 'trail' was about 1,000 kilometres in length and consisted of many parts .
