The authors of Twarikhs were usually learned men: secretaries, administrators, poets and courtiers whi both recounted events ans advised rules on governance emphasising the important of just rules.

Hey!!

A tarikh (singular)/tawarikh (plural) are 'histories' which are valuable sources of information. These were written in Persian, the language of administration under the Delhi Sultans.
