scheme of Education was launched by Mahatma Gandhi as an attempt to develop an indigenous scheme of elementary education in British India. Mahatma Gandhi realized the British system of primary education in India could not serve the socio-economic needs of the country. Instead, he felt the necessity for  a scheme of primary education based on Indian traditional culture through the medium of mother tongue. A conference was held in Wardha in October, 1937 to discuss this plan of primary education. The conference resolved that there should be free primary education for all. The education should be in the mother tongue of the child. Furthermore, the expenditure for this scheme was to be met by training students in some craft, which could then generate revenue to cover the the remuneration of the teacher.

                                            Value Education
From long generations the culture and tradition have remained on the the most prestigious list. The cultures and the traditions teach only one thing and that is the value of morals, ethics and our behavior. In todays modern generation the world is running not after the culture, morals and ethics but it is running away from it. People have forgot the value of our culture, tradition and ethics which only aim at one thing - moral. The value for it is great and  one must understand and learn the true power of humanity in it.
