variations in india of rainfall:
monsoon starts in the montg of june and july
the moisture carrying winds hits the western coast causing rainfall there it goes up in the land continously causing rainfall but slowly the humidity is lessen
finally south east monsoon comes and causes heavy rains in the eastern part of india
the south east and south west monsoon meets in the north east region that is uttar pradesh causing heavy rains
during winters westerly wind comes and causes rain in punjab
it flows over bay of bengal picking up moisture and hits in the tamil nadu coast causing rain there in winters as well
