The October Revolution Occured Due To The Following reasons:

  • Conflict between provisional Government And Bolsheviks grew.
  • On 16 October 1917, Lenin influenced the 'Soviet' and Bolsheviks against government.
  • As a result, 'Military Revolutionary Committee' was appointed by the Soviet under Leon Trotsky.
  • 24 October 1917, Prime Minister Kerensky left the city and military men seized the building of the Bolshevik newspapers.
  • Government troops were sent to protect the winter palace.
  • In response military me seized offices and arrested ministers.
  • Finally, city was under military's control.
  • Similarly uprising took place in other cities, there was heavy fightings in Moscow.
  • By December, Moscow was under Bolshevik's control.
  • And finally, Lenin became the leader after revolution.
