Explanation:

The five kingdom classification was proposed by R.H. Whittaker in 1969. The five kingdoms were formed on the basis of characteristics such as cell structure, mode of nutrition, source of nutrition and body organisation. It includes Kingdom Monera, Kingdom Protista, Kingdom Fungi, Kingdom Plantae, and Kingdom Animalia.

Answer:

The organisms are divided in 5 kingdoms on the basis of their :Cell structure

Body structure

Mode of nutrition

Forms & Function

Explanation:

MONERA

These is Prokaryotes.

These is unicellular.

These are blue green algae, bacteria ,e-coli, cynobacteria and mycoplasm.

Mode of nutrition

for algae:autotrophic

for bacteria:heterotrophic.

PROTISTA

•These are eukaryotes

•These are unicelluar

•These are di-atoms, protozoa and algae.

•Example :Amoeba, paramecium amf euglena etc.

FUNGI

•These are eukaryotes.

•These are multicellular.

•These have also cell wall.

These dont perform photosynthesis.

Made of slender tube called hypae.

Many fungi are involve in symbiotic relation with blue green algae (lichen). This process is callled symbiosis.

Examples:Yeast,mushroom,rhizopus etc

Cell wall is made up of chitin

Chitin is a type of complex sugar

PLANTAE

These are eukaryotes.

These are multicellular.

Cell wall present.

Cell wall is made up of cellulose.

Cellulose is a type of carbohydrate.

Able to perform photosynthesis.

ANIMALIA

These are eukaryotes.

These are multicellular.

Cell wall absent.

They are heterotrophic.

Growth is limited and stops after maturity.
