Dear friend,

1. Haloalkanes: The Replacement of one or more hydrogen from an aliphatic hydrocarbon by the halogen group, the compound is known as Haloalkane. In haloalkanes [R - X], where x shows the halogen group, which is connected to an aliphatic hydrocarbon. For example, Methyl Chloride.

2. Haloarenes: As a result of the replacement of one or more hydrogen atoms from Aromatic hydrocarbons by the halogen group, the compound is known as Haloarene. In Halogen [Ar - X] where the halogen group connected to the aromatic ring. For example, Chlorobenzene.

Hope it helped.
