- Many million years ago, All Landmass on Earth existed as One Super Continent – called Pangea.
- Northern part of Pangea was called 'Angara' or 'Laurasia' which consisted of North America and Eurasia (Europe and Asia).
- Southern part of Pangea was called 'Gondwana' which consisted of South America, Africa, Australia, Antarctica and India.
- Pangea also consisted of a Narrow, Elongated Oceanic trough lying between the Eurasian plate & Gondwana land called 'Tethys'
