leucoplasts-store food
chloroplasts-store chlorophles,help in photosynthesis
chromoplasts -give colour to other plant parts like flower's pedal

it is the cell organelle. it is found in the plants cell only. the internal organisation of plastids contain numerous membrane layers embedded in a material called stroma .plastids are similar to mitochondria in external structure.they are also doubled layered and contain their own DNA and ribosomes.
