Evergreen forest
1.it is also known as rain forest because it receive rainfall throughout the year.
2.the trees of this forest is very long and dens. 3. The branches of the trees is close together and umbrella like structure called conopy.
4. Due to conopy sunlight hardly reach the surface of this forest.
5. Surface of this forest is always wet due to lack of sunlight.
6. Variety of herbs, shrubs and creeper are found in this forest.
7. Different types of wild life, ractiles, birds and insects are in this forest.

Deciduous forest
1. It is also known as monsoon forest.
2. Trees shed their leafs 6 to8 weeks in summer.
3.these type of forest are found in india in northern-estern states, western ghats, odissa, jharkhand etc.
4. It receive rainfall between 100to70cm.
5. Teak, sal, pepeer, neem are important trees in this forest.
6. Lion, pig, tiger, deer, elephant and many types of bird, lizard, snakes, tortoise are found here.

They are also called Tropical evergreen forest .

Tropical evergreen forests occur in the regions near the equator and close to the tropics . These regions are hot and receive heavy rainfall throughout the year . It has no particular dry season trees do not shed leaves together . This is the reason they are called evergreen . Thick canopies do not allow the sunlight to penetrate inside the forest even in the daytime hardwood trees like Rosewood and Ebony and common here .

Tropical deciduous forest

Tropical deciduous forests are also called monsoon forest . These are found in a large part of India , Northern Australia and in Central America . These experience seasonal changes , trees shed their leaves in dry season to conserve water . Hardwood trees like sal , teak , Neem and shisham are found . Hardwood trees are useful for making furniture transport and constructional materials . Tigers , lions elephant and monkeys are common here .
