Answer:Zn +CuSo4=ZnSO4+Cu......in this reaction Zn was in 0 oxidation state  and in CuSo4 , Cu was in +2 oxidation state in the reactant part i.e in the left hand side. After reaction it forms ZnSo4 in which Zn is in +2 oxidation state  and Cu is in 0 oxidation state..SO, It is seen that oxidation state of Zn has increased by two unit.so it gets oxidised.but at the same time it helps cus04 to be reduced to Cu i.e  to gain 0 oxidation state.so Zn is reducing agent.Cuso4 itself reduced to Cu but helps Zn to be oxidised thus CuSo4 is oxidising agent.
