Charlie Chaplin was an English comic actor, filmmaker, and composer. He was born on April 16, 1889, in London. He has been really famously known for productive and creative filmmaker for about 75 years. He passed away in 1977. 

His father and mother both were music hall entertainers. He suffered from poverty and hardships in his childhood. He was sent out for work twice before the age of nine. His mother tried her best to cover all the expenses while his father was absent from their lives.At the age of 14, his mother was sent to mental asylum.

When he mother fell sick he appeared on the stage for the very first time at the age of five and by the age of 13 he completely abandoned school.

His first performance was at the age of 19 as a comedian. Later he was chosen for the film industry in the United States in 1914, he started appearing in Keystone Studios. And by the end of 1918, he was one of the best-known figures in the film industry.
